Operates loom, known as Levers-Lace Machine, to weave lace: Throws power rod to start loom and pushes wheel to activate pattern chain. Observes lace being woven to detect weaving defects. Examines loom to determine cause of loom stoppage, such as yarn breaks or mechanical defects. Pulls out broken filling and pushes shuttle through shed to insert new pick. Records number of racks woven and cuts completed lace from loom.
