Tends mixing tanks to fortify sugar liquid extracted from beets with concentrated sugar liquids to obtain standard sugar liquor: Starts pumps and mixing tank agitators and opens valves to fill mixing tank with thin sugar juice and concentrated sugar liquid. Tests density of sugar liquor, using hydrometer. Pumps liquids into tank until specified density of liquor is obtained. Takes sample of liquor for laboratory analysis. Records operational data.
