Manufacturing Director Jobs
A manufacturing director is responsible for the overall operations of the manufacturing unit; supervision and performance appraisal of all the employees including manufacturing engineers, QC engineers, manufacturing supervisors, and other shop floor personnel; participation in strategic planning and providing vision to the department. A manufacturing director is also responsible for productivity of the entire division and upgrading the facilities with prevalent technologies in the industry. A manufacturing director generally reports to the vice president.
A manufacturing director should have a degree in an engineering discipline, and several years of experience working as a manufacturing supervisor or production manager.
