Manufacturing Print Production Jobs description

A print production professional is responsible for performing several of the following tasks: managing production and workflow of all print projects, managing staff and freelancers and acting as point person for internal project requests, project management of printed and digital work, workflow and deadline management, liaising between print, digital, online and on-air departments, managing production design and giving feedback to studio artists, coordinating with production design staff, copywriters and freelancers, managing project workflow from request to delivery, developing and tracking print budgets and production calendars, maintaining print and merchandise archives and performing several other tasks. A print production professional typically reports to a print production manager.
A print production professional should have a four-year degree in a relevant area. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Excellent creative skills are essential for any print production role.
