Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a position in Camden, AR who will
be responsible for the programming,
maintaining, repairing and testing of CNC tooling
and equipment required to effect manufacturing
processes in accordance with production rate
requirements.
Duties include:
Studies the customer's manufacturing
requirements, including the desired output of the
machinery to be automated, the design of the
components to be manufactured, the sequence
of machine operations, and the total time the
operational process requires. Creates the CNC
program to control the machinery based on this
analysis.
Ensures the smooth operation of all CNC
machines and troubleshoots and resolves any
problems.
Maintains a program database with detailed
records on all CNC machines.
May train and supervise other engineers or
technicians.
Researches the latest technological
advancements, and answer inquiries from
internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with ANSI Y14.5
Experience with CAD/CAM systems and programming GE FANUC CNC controls
Desired Skills:
Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Technology or Aerospace Engineering degree
preferred.
Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical
design
Knowledgeable of general manufacturing
processes
Knowledgeable of engineering materials
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
Knowledge of suspended loads and lifting device
requirements
Strong written and oral communication skills for
dealing with clients, supervisors, and other
engineers.
Able to listen and understand the needs of the
production team while balancing budgetary
constraints and meeting schedule deadlines.
Maintains a flexible, positive attitude with poise
and a team-oriented mindset.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
