Role Summary:

Reporting to the Fast Trak Global Operations leader (based off-site), support/drive implementation of new systems. Lead individual service projects to ensure on time execution, in-budget, and delivery according to customer satisfaction. Manage financial invoicing, scheduling and planning. Improve project execution practices using an agile project management. Partner with other PMs and cross-functional teams adapting to new ways of working.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead BioManufacturing Services projects including process transfer, process development, scale up, cGMP manufacture and outgoing process transfer to customer sites.

• Support the Fast Trak Global Operations leader to define and implement a new strategy for best practices within the project management team including invoicing, templates, PMO library, close out.

• Support problem solving and work with a sense of rigor and consistency and be an example for junior level Project Managers.

• Establish a sense of ownership of timelines within the execution team and do weekly follow up of the Gantt Charts with the project team

• Work closely with the Site Operations Leader to gather execution teams and solve resource limitations, and with department managers to assure that work adheres to timeline.

• Work closely with the relevant account manager/ sales team members responsible for the customer, keep them regularly informed of project progress and partner with them to create the relationship with the customer

• Build global relationships within GE network supporting horizontal teaming and solving resource limitations

• Work with prospective customers and the Fast Trak Business Development Leader in the last phases of contract signature to establish a timeline

• Run regular client teleconference and generates minutes and agendas. Records key decisions of the team.

• Facilitate communication within Fast Trak BM team and between Fast Trak BM team and client.

• Drive the assembly of a bill of materials and purchasing of materials for the project, with input from technical personnel.

• Coordinate assembly of a process flow diagram or process description, working with technical personnel.

• Maintain updated, resource-loaded timeline for project.

• Tracks actual vs. planned hours spent on project, and notify Finance of milestones reached for invoicing purposes.

• Assure that Fast Trak BM team complies with the contract and stays within the scope of work.

• Generate change notices for work desired outside the established scope of work.

• Coordinate scheduling of facilities and key equipment with other PMs.

• Participate in continuous improvement of Project Management function.

• Provide general logistical and problem solving support.

Quality Specific Goals:

Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Champion continuous improvement activities by initiating process and product quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects on time and problem solving

Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a collaborative, matrixed, and customer focused environment

BS with advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 4 years in a Contract Development and or Manufacturing Organization (CMO or CDMO), of which at least 2 years in the role of project manager or manager.

Experience in change management is desired. Desired Characteristics:
