Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate various machines in production environment including press, sander, shear, and various knives

Carefully follow detailed work instructions

Identify and report quality concerns

Delicately handle fragile veneer panels

Learn and practice lean manufacturing principles including continuous improvement and quality standards

Adhere to and support environmental, health, and safety guidelines

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience/Qualifications:

2 years of experience in manufacturing (machine operation and/or woodworking a plus)

Basic computer skills

Express ideas effectively and communicate clearly

Willing to reach out and partner with others to get things done

Adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions without compromising mandates

Actively measure personal performance against team goals

Strong mathematical skills including measurement and fractions

Good hand/eye coordination

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Stand for 8 hours per day
