Contract Manufacturing Coordinator – Erlanger, KY

This is a full time, exempt position


The purpose of this role is to work closely with contract manufacturers for both WFSI and SCI entities as well as internal groups to meet quality and delivery requirements. as well as develop short and long term production and sourcing plans. The Contract Manufacturing Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting in the coordination of commercial development for items that are targeted to be produced at contract manufacture’s site. Ensure the contract manufacturer relationships provide adequate contingency for all products and meets the needs of internal and external customers’ expectations.

Lead or participate in cross-functional teams and work closely with contract manufacturers to achieve superior levels of performance in quality, delivery, cost management and service.

Facilitate communication and alignment of contract manufactured items with R&D, Finance and Operations.

Develops and maintains a database of contract manufacturers, ensuring that all technologies to be serviced by WILD have a qualified contract manufacturer.

Ensure all contract manufacturers are qualified from both a quality/food safety, as well as manufacturing process perspective.

Ensures that all tactical elements of contract manufacturing are accurately and efficiently executed.

Leads the development and execution of corporate and departmental policies and procedures related to contract manufacturing, ensuring ISO 9001 and 22000 elements are incorporated.

Develop and execute strategies to meet the company’s business growth and sourcing requirements as it relates to contract manufacturing.

Establish and manage effective relationships with contract manufacturers.

Identify new and alternative sources of contract manufacturers.

Personally abide by and enforce ethical practice in all dealings with contract manufacturers.

Develop and maintain ISO documents pertaining to all contract manufacturing functions.

Perform other duties as assigned.


A minimum of a 4 year college degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Must be a self-starter (highly motivated) who can work independently or as a part of a team.

Assertive indirect/influence leadership qualities.

Ability to travel to contract manufacturers 30% of the time.

Results driven and focused on quality.

Project management mentality and ability to contribute in a cross functional collaborative environment.

Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation and PC skills required
