Job Details:

Perform a variety of operational functions that constitute the production and inspection of hot dogs and sliced meats. Performs job assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures. Transport and prepare product for smokehouses and the cook process. Observe smokehouse operations and perform temperature checks to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards. Tend or operate machine that produces product. Regulate temperatures to ensure compliance with specifications. Report malfunctions to the supervisor. Set up equipment plus tear down for sanitation. Performs minor preventive maintenance as instructed by supervisor. Wipe condensation as needed. Follow job rotations. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Be safety cautious. Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites. Adheres to Tyson Foods Quality Policies. Complies with the work rules and standards set forth. Must be available to work overtime and weekends. Able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must be willing to repeatedly push, pull, lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to withstand wet; humid, cold, and hot environments. Must be able to work in a refrigerated area with ambient temperature of 40 degrees. Must be willing to accommodate shift start time changes. Must be willing to work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products or any other product present when processing meat such as blood, fat, bone, spices. Be able to walk or stand for 8-12 hours per day on hard floors.
