Working with pre-qualified clients interested in improving manufacturing operations, you will work closely with Account and Sales Leaders to directly engage client representatives to gather detailed business needs and technical requirements to position Smart Factory solutions.
Act as a critical contributor within the sales and account planning process.
Identify how to solve client problems most-effectively with Deloitte's Smart Factory Hybrid Service Offering.
Leverage your advanced knowledge of industry best practices and Deloitte's Smart Factory offering to prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
Become a trusted advisor within Deloitte Account and Customer teams by building a credible business and technical consultant relationship, while working alongside Deloitte sales and pursuit leaders.
Work collaboratively with market-leading ecosystem partners.
Support the design and delivery of custom interactive sales experiences and workshops at the Smart Factory @ Wichita experience center.
Construct meaningful collateral for client requests for information, proposals, and proof of concept exercises, lead response to client requests for information.
Deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, matrix, team environment.
Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise, strengthening Deloitte's collective knowledge, and helping resolve our clients' challenges.
Collaborate to design and position innovative solutions to bolster the future of the practice.
Required qualifications
5 years of professional experience in manufacturing operations
5 years of professional pre-sales (or sales) experience
Experience with Smart Factory in one or more of the following:
Operations improvement
Lean / Six Sigma
Material and inventory cost reduction
Footprint optimization
Data analysis and visualization
Change management
Continuous Improvement
Digital manufacturing technologies
IT/OT (including cybersecurity)
Solution architecture
Manufacturing execution systems
Enterprise asset management
Digital thread
Automation
Exceptional interpersonal, team building and communication skills
Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree
Hands-on manufacturing experience within a discrete manufacturing industry.
Experience selling or delivering professional services
