The Supervisor role is a position leading union represented mechanical/electrical/optical assemblers in solder, bonding, and test. Responsibilities include; prioritization of hardware through assembly processes, hardware status reporting to center and program leadership, management of quality, schedule and cost goals for multiple work cells, support development and implementation of process improvements, energize team members and set the standard for performance excellence.
Must have strong communication written and oral; build effective relationships; and ability to resolve conflict.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, flexible environment, including overtime periods, as needed.
Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or other related field with relevant experience
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a leadership/supervisory environment or related technical experience in the defense industry.
Strong Microsoft office suite knowledge and skill
Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Prior leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment
Demonstrated leadership competencies consistent with the tenets of Full Spectrum Leadership
Experience with tracking and managing cost, quality, and schedule, in a manufacturing environment
Experience working and leading in a union environment
Performance Management Team experience
Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques
Test and Assembly Experience
