Lean Six Sigma Consultant

Profile

WGA  is looking for a person with a diverse business background and solid consulting, training, and communications skills, and a working knowledge and practical experience in the application of Lean and Six Sigma concepts and tools. The person will deliver benefit to WGA and its customers through leading continuous improvement engagements, providing training to customers and internal team members, and facilitating the adoption of Lean practices.

Specific duties:

·   Provide Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Program training to corporate customers and/or consumers via instructor led sessions or other delivery methods as appropriate.

Lead and coach project teams in all aspects of process improvement through the application of suitable Lean and/or Six Sigma concepts and tools with a constant focus on satisfying the needs of the customer.

Lead and coach the organizations through the implementation of visual management, standard work, and line of sight metrics

Coach and mentor integrated operations leaders and teams in enabling continuous      improvement through Lean Six Sigma.

Deliver Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools using the DMAIC framework or the DMADV framework, as appropriate.

Contribute to the on-going development of the internal Lean Six Sigma body of knowledge

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include the following:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field

A deep understanding of Lean principles and methodology

Demonstrated ability to deal with people at all levels within an organization

Demonstrated skills: statistical and analytical capability, planning and organizing,

Communications, teaching, coaching, mentoring.

Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Three years of experience in a Black Belt role
