Altis Aero Systems, a B/E Aerospace Company, is located in Savannah, GA and specializes in the design, development and manufacture of tubular systems for the aerospace industry.

Reporting to the Director – Business Unit, the Manufacturing Manager will develop and implement activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives, to include management of exempt and nonexempt associates involved in production, assembly, subassembly or fabrication operations by performing the following duties.
Review, establish and prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, efficiency, materials supply and personnel resources; manage activities through subordinate supervisors to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements that are consistent with cost and delivery conditions
Inform assigned associates of production and/or material problems and coordinate with support groups to resolve operational problems affecting schedules
Establish and modify operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures; recommend departmental standards and practices
Coordinate production activities with other functions such as materials, marketing, new product development, customer service, manufacturing engineering, and quality inspection
Plan and administer procedures and budgets; make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor
Develop schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas; maintain a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, and other manufacturing aspects
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and three years’ experience –OR- or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
Prior manufacturing experiences, particularly in the aerospace industry
Experience in Lean, Six Sigma activities
Good understanding of metal forming processes, including welding
Experience with AS9100 manufacturing requirements (or equivalent)
