Job Details:

Under general supervision, monitors and guides trainee performance. Employees in this job will train team members to learn safest practices, best production techniques, and to understand quality control, while interacting with management on a regular basis. This job requires knowledge of the process workflow and production in the locations manufacturing environment. Train and develops workforce coordinates training, trains and monitors trainees to assure quality of work and progression towards qualification. Ensures adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks. Tracks tardiness, Absenteeism, and availability if trainees, observes behavior of trainee while performing job and responds to potential problems towards the qualification process, and to ensure the safety of individuals. Creates a variety of documents including one-point lessons, Standard Operating procedures, and various training materials. Must be able to work and accomplish job tasks as assigned. Trainer will have 8-13 trainees qualifying at one time it will depend on the plant size, turnover rates, and the complexity of the process.

Education: High School Diploma of GED

Experience: One year of relates prior work experience in manufacturing or production; Familiar with production departmental operations organization policies, applicable laws, procedures, and processes; knowledge of specialized departmental equipment operation including forklifts, pallet jacks, push carts, scales and production packaging equipment; Ability to effectively train and direct the workforce to meet production goals and departmental goals/objectives in a high-volume department. Mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, Flexibility to changing work priorities. Demonstrate organizational and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements: Employees may require standing, and or walk, bend and or stoop, for long periods. Lift boxes or equipment up to 50 pounds. Sit at a computer and type for periods of time.

Requirements:

Must complete an on-line job application in Workday

Excellent communication skills and must be able to follow instructions given by Supervisor.

Must be a full-time team member and have completed the 90-day probationary period. If there no qualified candidates, probationary team members will be considered.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. at a time.

Must not have a written warning/written warning with suspension in the last 6 months.

Successful bidders will not be allowed to bid for (6) months unless the bid is for a higher classification rating.

Must not have a self-disqualification or self-demotion in the last (6) months.

Must have less than 8 attendance points at the time of the bid and to be awarded the job.

Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, that holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.

DISCRETIONARY JOBS are awarded to the best qualified candidate based on qualifications to include, work history, attendance, discipline, and position requirements.
