SUMMARY:

This position is responsible to lead, direct and coordinate all R&D plant operations and maintenance within company policies and procedures across multiple shifts; maintaining a clean and safe working environment; being a safety leader at the plant establishing and directing plant policies and procedures; responsible for meeting plant facility goals; establish and maintain a positive community relationship; foster and promote a team environment; responsible for establishing all shift production schedules; select and train plant supervisory, operations and hourly staff; conduct employee performance reviews; schedule and conduct plant meetings; responsible for all aspects of accurate data collection, and data uploading of all attributes needed for Cobb R&D; attend scheduled corporate training and meetings; follow all federal state, company and university regulations for the plant and wastewater; work with the University of Arkansas, and all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: B.S degree or equivalent required. M.S. degree preferred.

Experience: At least four years of supervisor experience and knowledge of data collection requirements for a breeding program. Must have a working knowledge and experience in poultry processing plant environments. Boiler Certification, or ability to gain Certification is preferred. The direction of plant operations and wastewater knowledge is helpful.

Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication Skills: Good verbal and written skills. Bilingual skills a plus.

Supervisory: Yes.

Work Environment: Up to 75% of time will be spent on night shift.

Travel: 10% per year domestic and possible international trips.
