Manufacturing Specialist Jobs description
An engineering or manufacturing specialist position may be available with a manufacturing firm. A manufacturing specialist is responsible for studying organizational facilities and machineries; troubleshooting when the machines breakdown; providing training to new manufacturing staff; advising the engineering personnel; offering advice to the management on technical advancements; preparing documents and reports regarding the use of technology; coordinating with managers from engineering and other departments; participating in health and safety policies formulation; promoting technological know-how in the organization and performing various other tasks assigned by the manufacturing supervisor. A manufacturing specialist typically reports to a manufacturing supervisor.A manufacturing specialist should have a bachelor\\\'s degree in an engineering discipline and several years of experience working in the area. Prior experience working as a manufacturing technician, engineering specialist, manufacturing analyst, manufacturing consultant or manufacturing advisor may be helpful.
