New York’s Nice-Pak Products has announced it will locate a new manufacturing facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas, resulting in a $40 million-dollar investment and jobs for 300 people.
The company manufactures pre-moistened wipes for a variety of uses, including consumer, industrial, and
healthcare. It plans to begin production in Jonesboro toward the end of 2008.
“We are excited to see these quality jobs coming to northeast Arkansas and we appreciate Nice-Pak’s decision to make a substantial investment here,” Democratic Governor Mike Beebe said. The company will receive $2.52 million from a fund the governor controls to attract new businesses to the state.
The company pioneered the first pre-moistened wipes for the
restaurant industry under the market-leading Wet Nap brand.
Nice-Pak has three additional manufacturing facilities in New York, Indiana, and Wisconsin. The company also has overseas manufacturing facilities in Wales and Germany.
