Manufacturing Planner Jobs description
A planner job opening may be available with any manufacturing organization. A planner is responsible for planning for material, financial and manpower requirements. Specific duties of a planner include forecasting future demands of company products, participating in human resource planning, coordinating with finance department, participating in organizational planning activities, ensuring materials availability through materials planning, scheduling maintenance and repair activities, participating in allocating human resources as well as financial resources to divisions, ensuring that resources distribution is optimal, ensuring that all the resources judiciously utilized and performing other tasks as required. A planner typically reports to the manufacturing director.A planner should have an associate\'s degree or a bachelor\'s degree in a relevant area. An MBA or a qualification in industrial engineering may be helpful. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience working as a planner may be advantageous.
